Sugar – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Saffron – ¼ tbsp
Bread – 4 slices
Milk – 2 cup
Sugar – ½ cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
Method for preparing this Shahi tukda or double ka meetha recipe
For shahi tukda
Combine sugar with 2 cup of water and cook. Stir till sugar dissolves.
In another pan, mix the milk and saffron and sugar syrup for 5 to 8 minutes.
Remove from heat and keep warm.
Heat ghee and deep fry the bread slices till they turn golden in color and crispy.
Soak the dried slices in the warm milk.
Heat the milk in a kadaai or frying pan. Bring it to boil.
Lower the heat and stir continuously. Keep doing this till the misture is thick and milk get reduced.
Remove from heat and add sugar and cardamom powder.
Keep stirring till sugar dissolves .
Arrange the bread slices on a plate and add 2 tbsp of rabri over it.
Your recipe is ready to serve and eat.
